The tender records published on BidToday are public procurement data issued by the Qatar Ministry of Finance. They are not personal data relating to you and fall outside this policy, which concerns only the information we hold about you as a user.

Data generated as you use the platform
- Service records, such as sign-in times, the searches and tenders your account has opened, and the features you have used, so that your saved work, history and personalised results remain available to you.
- Technical records, such as IP address, browser type and request timestamps, kept to keep the platform secure and available.
This information is generated automatically as part of delivering the service. It is used to run and improve the platform, and is not used for advertising or shared with advertisers.
We do not collect payment card details. We do not purchase personal data from third parties.
How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and maintain your session.
- To provide the search, profile and analysis features of the platform.
- To detect and prevent automated access, scraping and abuse.
- To respond to your enquiries and support requests.
- To understand which features are used, in aggregate, so that the platform can be improved.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell personal data and we do not disclose it for advertising purposes. We use the following processors, each receiving only the data required for its function:
Hosts account, usage and security records. Receives all stored personal data.
Serves the application. Processes request metadata including IP address.
Delivers verification codes. Receives your email address.
Verifies mobile numbers at registration. Receives the number provided.
Confirms registrations originate from a person. Receives request metadata.
Deliver fonts and charting libraries directly to your browser.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Data Retention

Verification codes are held only briefly and expire shortly after they are issued. Sign-in sessions are removed automatically once they lapse.

Security
Passwords are stored so that nobody, including us, can read them. Data is encrypted in transit between your browser, the platform and the database. Access to the platform is protected against automated abuse and bulk extraction, and you are signed out automatically after a period of inactivity.

Cookies
BidToday sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in while you are using the platform. It contains no personal information, cannot be read by other websites, and expires after a period of inactivity.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. No consent banner is required because no optional cookies are set.
Changes to This Policy
Where a material change is made to this policy, the revised version will be published on this page. Continued use of the platform following publication constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
