About
BidToday turns Qatar's public tender record into something a small business can actually use, so that bidding decisions rest on evidence rather than on guesswork.
The problem
Qatar publishes its government tenders. The record is public, but it is distributed across thousands of individual pages in two languages, with no practical way to compare one buying entity against another or to trace how award values have moved over time.
Large contractors close that gap by employing people to monitor the market. Smaller firms generally cannot, and so they bid with materially less information than the companies they are bidding against.
What BidToday does
Search the full record
Awarded, published and planned tenders in one place, searchable in plain language in English or Arabic.
Understand the buyer
Award history, competition levels and supplier patterns for each government entity.
Know the competition
Track record, win rate, local value ratio and frequent rivals for any bidding company.
Price against the market
What comparable work has been awarded for, so a number can be justified rather than estimated.
Where the data comes from
Tender data originates from the Qatar Ministry of Finance Monaqasat portal, the official source for government procurement in Qatar. BidToday is an independent platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
Records are refreshed twice daily. We do not alter them. Where we add analysis of our own, it is identified as analysis and the method behind it can be explained on request.
How we treat accuracy
Where the source record is incomplete, we show it as incomplete rather than estimating a value. Local value ratios, for instance, only began appearing in the published record from around 2023, so tenders before that date carry no score and are not treated as scoring zero.
The platform is a research tool rather than a source of record. Figures that will inform a bid should be verified against the official portal, and the Terms & Conditions set that out formally.
If something appears to be displayed incorrectly, please tell us. Corrections to the underlying record must be made through the Ministry.
Bid preparation
Beyond the data, we assist with preparing submissions: documentation, compliance review and pricing strategy. This is a separate engagement under its own agreement, and it is optional. The platform is fully usable without it.
